Operational IT is what links tanks, artillery and drones together.
Kampkraft tells the stories of those who build Denmark’s defence, and in today’s episode we hear from those who build our operational IT systems.
We’ll look at how a message travels from the soldier to headquarters, and how systems with different security classifications communicate with one another. What it takes to build systems for the battlefield: without a connection, in the cold and dust, and for a soldier under pressure.
We’ll be exploring the concept of the platform in relation to NATO and the FMI’s Techlab, looking at where AI makes a difference and where caution is needed.
And when it comes to the early-stage industry, we’re looking at what a young company with a product that works needs to know before it approaches investors.

Alex Mathar
A Major in the Danish Armed Forces with more than 20 years’ experience in operational missions, strategic analysis and innovation. Has worked in the fields of cyber security, industry partnerships, MDO and international treaties. Known for his in-depth understanding of operational requirements and his ability to translate technology into tangible results.
Anders Havelund Krøyer
Former soldier, tech entrepreneur and leader with experience in political networking, event development and the start-up scene. Co-founder of AR Comply and co-owner of TechSavvy Media. Brings a distinct industry perspective and extensive experience in bridging the gap between innovation, politics and defence.
